2 years ago I never ever heard about Rheingold. Then, my good friend and drummer Patrice Heral introduced me to Rheingold and Jürgen Weidner. After talking a bit, I had the opportunity to try a BA-12 and a BP-2.
Next thing I remember was me driving 12 hours straight from my home to Duisburg meeting Jürgen, Jürgen Jr and Elke at the Rheingold Workshop. Then, they changed my musical life. Honestly.
I was looking for an amplification that can restitute clearly the sound of my fingers and my bass and eventually magnify my sound. What Rheingold achieved was beyond my expectations and even what I've imagined.
The B300 / B100 -"plugged into a BA20, BA-12, BA10, BP-2", totally touched my soul which now belong to Rheingold. I'm thinking about this amp EVERYDAY. No more words needed to describe it, just try it and maybe you'll feel it as I felt it.
Something beautiful I particularly like about every Rheingold product is the honesty. No cheating, no makeup, you better be consistent with your sound because it will reflect exactly what you are sending, good or bad.
If by chance you are close to Duisburg, take some time time to visit the workshop. You'll be received by some beautiful, humbling and adorable human beings with Elke, Jürgen Jr and Jürgen Sr, a true technical genius and master of the finest German jokes even me could understand. I have so much love and respect for this family.
