The BA40 literally has a ton of power - 1200 watts of continuous power to be precise.
This huge amount of power means the BA40 has stunning dynamic range, transient response and a wide frequency response at any volume.

Its high-end 10-inch drivers are paired with our signature 6-inch mid/high-frequency driver that can also be found in the BA12 cabinet. This speaker configuration paired with the dual, front-facing laminar reflex ports, means that your tone will be heard loud and clear anywhere in the room.

The Drivers:
Moving Air with Grace.

The driver combination of the BA40 is unique in the industry. When developing this speaker cabinet, we wanted to settle for nothing but the best components available.
What resulted is finely tuned ensemble of four 10-inch woofers and our unique 6-inch mid/high-frequency driver with phase plug.

The 10" Woofers

Ultra stiff suspension, an extremely powerful yet lightweight neodymium magnet and a cast aluminum basket - or for short: The makings of an incredible low-frequency driver. It delivers low frequencies with ease, reproduces the midrange with pristine neutrality and boasts ultra-fast transient response.

The 6" Driver

In our configuration, where it is used as a mid/high-frequency driver, its amazing headroom means you get smooth upper mids and highs that are never harsh,
even when playing very loud. In addition to this, its design gives the BA40 its ultra-wide dispersion characteristics so everyone on- and offstage will be able to hear you loud and clear.

Constructed for Ultimate Sound & Durability.
The body of a speaker is not only what holds the speakers in place, it is the most important part of the speaker's sonic signature, frequency response and sonic accuracy.

The body of the BA40 is made from the finest European plywoods and does not only give the BA40 its amazing sound, it also keeps its weight manageable and makes the cabinet more durable.

The bass reflex ports are precisely tuned to the 10-inch woofers so that any port turbulences are eliminated and the BA40 achieves the fastest possible transient response.

To guarantee the best possible performance of the 6-inch mid/high-frequency driver, it is housed in its own enclosure which, like the rest of the body, is carefully tuned and baffled to minimize resonance.
