The Drivers:

The driver combination of the BA12 is unique in the industry. When developing this speaker cabinet, we wanted to settle for nothing but the best components available.
What resulted is a duo of a 12-inch woofer, paired with a 6-inch mid/high-frequency driver with phase plug.

The 12" Woofer

Ultra stiff suspension, an extremely powerful yet lightweight neodymium magnet and a cast aluminum basket - or for short: The makings of an incredible low-frequency driver. It delivers low frequencies with ease, reproduces the midrange with pristine neutrality and boasts ultra-fast transient response.

The 6" Driver

This unique driver can handle 250W and could go down to 100 Hz. In our configuration, where it is used as a mid/high-frequency driver, its amazing headroom means you get smooth upper mids and highs that are never harsh. In addition to this, its design gives the BA12 its ultra-wide dispersion characteristics so everyone on- and offstage will be able to hear you loud and clear.

Stackable & Secure.

The hard plastic corners of the BA12 are not only for protection, but also serve as its feet. On top of that,
they also interlock so that you can stack multiple Rheingold cabinets without having to worry about them slipping.
Plus, they not only have feet on the bottom and top, but also on the sides!
This means that you can use our cabs in any orientation you please.

Constructed for Ultimate Sound & Durability

The body of a speaker is not only what holds the speakers in place, it is the most important part of the speaker's sonic signature,
frequency response and sonic accuracy.

The body of the BA12 is made from the finest European plywoods and does not only give the BA12 its amazing sound, it also keeps it lightweight and durable.

The bass reflex ports are precisely tuned to the 12-inch woofer so that any port turbulences are eliminated
and the BA12 achieves the fastest possible transient response.

To guarantee the best possible performance of the 6-inch mid/high-frequency driver, it is housed in its own enclosure which,
like the rest of the body, is carefully tuned and baffled to minimize resonance.

Our speaker cabinets are crafted by hand in Duisburg Germany and each have to undergo critical listening tests before making it onto the road.
This way, we can guarantee that every single BA12 lives up to the Rheingold standard.
