**Statutory Right of Withdrawal**

1. **Right of Withdrawal:** The customer (as a consumer in accordance with §13 BGB) may revoke their contractual declaration within 14 days without providing any reason, either in text form (e.g., letter, fax, e-mail) or—if the goods are handed over to them before the expiry of the period—by returning the goods. The period begins upon receipt of this instruction in text form, but not before the goods are received by the recipient (in the case of recurring delivery of identical goods, not before the receipt of the first partial delivery) and not before the fulfillment of information obligations in accordance with Art. 246, §2 EGBGB in conjunction with §1, paragraphs 1 and 2 EGBGB, as well as §312g, paragraph 1, sentence 1 BGB in conjunction with Art. 246, §3 EGBGB. To meet the withdrawal deadline, timely dispatch of the revocation or the goods is sufficient, except for "made-to-order" items.

2. **Consequences of Withdrawal:** In the event of a valid withdrawal, both parties must return any received services and, where applicable, any benefits derived (e.g., interest). If the customer cannot return the received service and benefits (e.g., advantages of use), either wholly or partly, or only in a deteriorated condition, they must provide compensation for the value. The customer is only liable for deterioration of the goods to the extent that it resulted from handling the goods beyond the examination of their properties and functionality. The "examination of properties and functionality" refers to testing and trying out the goods as would be possible and customary in a retail store. Otherwise, the customer can avoid compensation liability for deterioration resulting from proper use by not treating the goods as their own property and avoiding anything that could reduce their value.

Goods suitable for parcel shipment must be returned at our risk. The customer bears the regular costs of return if the delivered goods correspond to the ordered goods and if the price of the returned goods does not exceed €40, or if for higher-priced items, at the time of withdrawal, the counter-performance or a contractually agreed partial payment has not yet been made. Otherwise, the return shipment is free of charge for the customer. Goods that are not suitable for parcel shipment will be collected from the customer. Refund obligations must be fulfilled within 30 days. The period begins for the customer with the dispatch of the withdrawal declaration or goods, and for Rheingold-Music upon receipt.

3. **Financed Transactions:** If this contract has been financed by a loan and the customer withdraws from the financed contract, they are also no longer bound by the loan agreement, provided that both contracts form an economic unit. This is assumed if we are simultaneously the lender for the customer or if the customer’s lender makes use of our cooperation for financing purposes. If the loan has already been received by us at the time the withdrawal or return becomes effective, the lender enters into our rights and obligations from the financed contract vis-à-vis the customer regarding the legal consequences of the withdrawal or return.

4. **Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal:** The right of withdrawal does not apply to distance contracts for the supply of goods that are manufactured according to customer specifications or at the customer’s request (“made-to-order”) and/or are clearly tailored to personal needs. These are marked as "Made-to-Order." The same applies to goods that, due to their nature, are not suitable for return, are perishable, or whose expiration date would be exceeded. The right of withdrawal does not apply to distance contracts for the supply of audio or video recordings or software if the supplied data carriers have been unsealed by the customer.

5. **Return Costs:** The customer bears the regular costs of return if the delivered goods correspond to the order and if the price of the returned goods does not exceed €40, or if for higher-priced items, at the time of withdrawal, the customer has not yet provided the counter-performance (payment of the purchase price). Otherwise, Rheingold-Music bears the return costs. Goods not suitable for parcel shipment will be collected by a transport company appointed by us. For returns from customers abroad, Rheingold-Music is unfortunately unable to cover the return shipping costs.
